Sex Therapy
Sex is important. We know now that its sole purpose is not just reproduction, but connection and pleasure. Intimacy is equally as important - and that does not necessarily require sex. Together, we can explore how to increase intimacy - either within your relationship with yourself or with a partner/partners. Perhaps you are hoping to discover or recreate passion and desire in your relationship. My first goal is to help individuals feel sexual safety and connection within themselves.
I believe in the importance of healthy sexual relationships. For those navigating the often complicated world of dating, the health of these relationships starts with you and how well you know yourself and your needs. I have experience with single individuals looking to increase self-intimacy, those casually dating, couples in short and long-term monogamous relationships, as well as those in ethically non-monogamous relationships. I have knowledge and training around issues sometimes associated with sex, such as: shame, low self-esteem, lack of desire, desire discrepancies, erectile dysfunction, and pornography use, as well as sexual trauma.
