There are many benefits to "Walk & Talk" therapy. Research shows that our brains (as well as our bodies) better process stored emotional pain and trauma when we are in motion. Walking together is also a great way to co-regulate. Also, look at where we live! We are absolutely surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of nature; a reminder of the perpetual flow of life and growth against obstacles. We can choose an easy, accessible walking path, keeping privacy and confidentiality in mind. This option is especially recommended for those experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, and/or stress, but also great for anyone that would like to get outside and experience some movement and the healing benefits of nature during our therapy session.
